A little information about Dykkergruppen Ebeltoft

The club - Dykkergruppen Ebeltoft - was founded in Ebeltoft on the 3. July 1980 and has always had it's base in Ebeltoft. Ebeltoft has almost always been the center of all diving related activities.
At present time we are almost 40 members, so it might seem as a small club. The advantage is though that we do all know
each other very well. We do have a well established and active Club-life, and do meet frequently for different diving and
non diving related activities like swimming in Ebeltoft Swimcenter, "Ebeltoft Maritime dage" where we help making the evenings
entertaining for all who want to participate. Whenever we find a reason for it, we do try to arrange small parties in
our clubhouse, so we do meet often.
The Club is an open Club, which means that we do not care what educational background you have, as long as the education
you have live up to the conditions mentioned in our constitution. We have far more focus on your experience as a diver,
and if we find you need more of that - well - we will surely give you more experience on all of our excursions.
We dive all year round, and we do not just dive in local waters. You will every so often find us on trips abroad like
Norway where we plan do go 3 to 4 times a year.
During summer we dive every Thursday evening either from shore or from boat. All depends on weater and interests of those
who participate. Members of the Club can also via this homepage arrange excursions and find contactinformation on all memebers.
During winter, we have as already mentioned access to Ebeltoft Swimcenter, where we can come and stay in shape by either
diving or swimming.
